Ferric Chloride (FeCl3) is the simplest & most commonly used method for etching a PCB. But the danger factor is equal to its simplicity.

Before Getting into the Etching procedure, We will give you some Notes.

1. Dont touch the Fecl3 with Bare hands.
2. Dont use any metal utensils or Metals for the mixing process.
3. Use glass or plastic trays during etching.
4. Cover your Nose & Eyes while etching, sometimes fumes may affect you.
5. After Etching one time, Fecl3 can be reused for next time, but store in a cool place away from sunlight.
6. If you are disposing of the chemical after use, please dont throw it inland or somewhere.
